Remie Streete insists his release from Newcastle United was a mutual decision.
The defender spent part of last season on-loan at Rangers and is a former Wor Jackie winner.
He said: "It was a mutual decision by myself and NUFC to part ways.
"Looking forward to the next part of my career and the opportunities ahead."
