Liverpool have received a boost after it emerged the head injury suffered by Marko Grujic against Chelsea is not serious.

The 20-year-old had to go off at half-time during the 1-0 International Champions Cup defeat to Chelsea in California on Thursday and was consequently taken to a hospital in Pasadena.

As yet, it has not been announced how long the Serbian winger is expected to be sidelined, although the standard recovery period from concussion is two weeks.
