Released Bolton veteran Campo in Premiership talks

Ivan Campo's agent has revealed that he is discussing the former Bolton midfielder's future with a Premier League team, a couple of Championship sides and three La Liga teams.

34-year-old Campo was out of contract at The Reebok Stadium when the season ended and The Trotters opted against offering the Spaniard a new contract.

The veteran has been linked to promotion hopefuls Hull, but his agent does not want to reveal the name of possible suitors.

"One Premier League club, several Championship clubs and three Primera Liga clubs are interested in Campo's services," Miguel Angel Cermeno told setantasports.com.

"I cannot tell you the name of the teams, as we are negotiating.

"Everybody is on holidays and we have the time to think.

"Campo is very happy in England, he has settled and would like to stay.

"He wanted to stay at Bolton but they decided they do not want to continue with him.

"The Championship is an option if the club have a good project for the future.

"He also knows Spanish football very well, having played in La Liga earlier in his career.

"Mallorca, his old club, are very interested."
