Lazio boss Edy Reja slammed his players desire after their dismal home defeat to Lecce.
The Rome club blew their chance to close the gap on leaders AC Milan, which drew with Udinese.
"These defeats need to be analysed and lessons learnt," said Reja.
"We wanted to keep soaring high and thought the points were already under our belt, but that was not the case.
"In every single game you need the right attitude and hunger. We didn't have that today. We didn't fight for the result the way Lecce did.
"We know that we have good talent, but have to work for everything and must start picking up points again from Sunday."
