Lazio boss Edy Reja feels their Champions League tilt is back on track.

Reja was pleased with victory over Brescia yesterday.

"We were going through a spell that wasn't particularly good and we hadn't won on our travels for a while," he said of the 2-0 win.

"Today the team proved it is on its way back and has put the dark period behind us. We won fairly easily, showing great technique combined with hard work and a cool head."

The Coach had railed against what he deemed excessive criticism of his Biancocelesti recently.

"The critics are there and will always be there for someone who has to make tough decisions, especially the fans who love this club very much.

"The team understands what I am doing and proves every day that it is made of serious professionals. I am happy with their reaction to my choices."
