Former Napoli coach Edy Reja is backing Ivan Strinic for success with his new club.
The Dnpiro fullback is joining Napoli on a Bosman.
Reja, who worked with Strinic at Hajduk Split, said: "If I had been in charge of a club, Strinic would be the first name I'd pick on the transfer market.
"When I was at Napoli, I'd have done somersaults to sign a natural left-footer like him. He's an excellent player, with good technique and physicality, but is more prone to attacking than defending.
"If he arrives at Napoli, it'll be a great coup, a really intelligent and targeted buy. I knew him already and he can deliver both in a four-man defence and a five-man midfield."
