Redmond prepared to be patient at Norwich

Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond is prepared to be patient over his first team development.

The England Under-21 starlet admitted learning from the likes of Robert Snodgrass, Anthony Pilkington and recent loan signing Jonas Gutierrez was all part of the attraction of moving to Carrow Road.

Redmond told the Pink 'Un: "You want to learn from them and essentially hopefully be better than them," he said. "Jonas has come in and been great for me and I am looking forward to working with him a lot more. I've been watching him in training and the games and you can see he has a lot of experience in terms of protecting the ball and playing it safe and that is something I can take on board. To be able to work with players like Jonas and Robert Snodgrass and Anthony Pilkington is what attracted me to the football club.

"Ever since I started playing I have been told just to keep my head down, keep working hard and focus on my football. Everything else will take care of itself. I am still a young man. I want to play every game, that is my nature but I am starting to understand that the gaffer has to take me out now and again and give me a little breather or put me on as an impact substitution. There is a balance and he has managed me well and he has not steered me wrong to this point of my career."
