QPR boss Harry Redknapp is seeking Premier League know-how in January.

Redknapp knows he faces a huge battle to convince players to join QPR's great escape bid.

Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole, Newcastle hitman Demba Ba and Fulham defender Brede Hangeland are on Redknapp's wish list, says the Daily Star.

Outlining his blueprint for potential signings, Redknapp said: "You're looking for good players, obviously.

"Good ability and the right characters that can come in and be up for having a go for you."
