Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is refusing to meet Portsmouth's £20 million asking price for striker Jermain Defoe.
After victory in the FA Cup over Wigan last night, Redknapp admitted: "The two clubs are miles apart in their valuations.
"Our club chairman met Portsmouth executive chairman Peter Storrie today but said they were poles apart.
"I think they want in excess of £20m for him. If that's the case then we'll move on and just look elsewhere."
