Redknapp says Tottenham miles ahead of Arsenal

QPR boss Harry Redknapp believes former club Tottenham can challenge for the Premier League title this season.

Redknapp believes Spurs are destined for glory this season, as well as insisting the White Hart Lane outfit are streets ahead of Arsene Wenger's Arsenal.

He told the Daily Star Sunday: "Spurs have brought some fantastic players in. If you go through their squad, they are full of quality.

"They've got France's keeper in Hugo Lloris, England right-back Kyle Walker, Jan Vertonghen is as good as just about anybody, Michael Dawson is quality and Younes Kaboul is back.

"And look at the midfield they have with Etienne Capoue, Paulinho, and Mousa Dembele - those three all have fantastic ability.

"It's an amazing squad that Andre has managed to put together over the last year or so.

"I wouldn't compare the two squads of Spurs and Arsenal now. Tottenham are much stronger, no doubt about it.

"There's no reason they can't challenge to win the league. They can be right there.

"They'll finish in the top four and who knows where they could go after that?"
