Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp feels Liverpool fullback Glen Johnson can be proud of his performance for England last night.

Johnson was heroic in Euros defeat to Italy.

Redknapp told The Sun: "Glen Johnson. He performed miracles in my opinion.

"He made last-ditch saves, superbly-timed blocks and looked good going forward. Glen doesn't always get the recognition he deserves. But I had him at Portsmouth after he came through at West Ham."
