Tottenham's Michael Dawson believes manager Harry Redknapp has a good selection quandary on his hands in regards to the clubs centre-backs.
Following Spurs' 1-1 draw with Aston Villa on the weekend, Dawson said the squad was in a good position with the strength of their defensive options and revealed that the rivalry between himself and the other defenders was a healthy one.
"When you've got Ledley King, Jonathan Woodgate, Sebastien Bassong and me, it's a good centre half selection for the manager," Dawson said.
"I got my chance last week and it was 9-1, this week it was 1-1 so let's hope he picks me next week.
"Maybe there is more competition at the back with us than other clubs.
"Ledley and Woody are both England internationals and Seb's an international and me wanting to be one.
"It's been hard but you work hard in training and make sure you do well when you get a chance."
