Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp praised David Nugent after his performance in yesterday's 0-0 draw with Manchester City.
Nugent's display was a welcome boost for the striker who has been a flop so far, still looking for his first top-flight goal and hardly getting into the side.
Redknapp said: "He looked livelier today; if that shot had gone in it would have been nice for him - and us.
"We are looking for anybody to score. But that's good for David - he's only not been getting in because Kanu and Benji have done so well."
