Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is delighted to see six players in England's provisional World Cup squad.
It is a remarkable turnaround under Redknapp, who took over a team battling against relegation just 18 months ago.
Defenders Michael Dawson and Ledley King, midfielders Tom Huddlestone and Aaron Lennon and forwards Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe have all been named in Fabio Capello's initial 30-man squad for South Africa, which will eventually be cut down to 23.
Redknapp said: "It is fantastic, great news for the club to have six players in the squad and they all deserve to be there.
"We expected Peter, JD and Aaron to be there. I thought Ledley would also make it and I was hoping Michael and Tom would as well, so the fact they are in there is great.
"It shows the strength of the playing squad here now and it is a great honour for the players and for the club, their families and everyone involved.
"I just hope no one is left disappointed when the squad gets cut down."
