Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has told midfield trio Richard Hughes, Arnold Mvuemba and Pedro Mendes they're in his first team plans.
"You don't usually have a top player like Pedro out of the team. The same goes for Richard Hughes - he never lets you down.
"There's Arnold as well, all good players but you need competition."
He also told The News: "Their chance will come, though, it's a long season, you need a squad. This isn't the end of them, we are going to need them."
