Brisbane Roar goalkeeper Liam Reddy will leave the club at the end of the season.
The 28-year old asked to be released from the final year of his contract due to personal reasons and the club agreed to his request.
Roar coach Ange Postecoglou said he had compassion for Reddy but still expected him to fulfil his duties for the remainder of the 2009/10 season.
"We understand players need to be happy," Postecoglou said. "I fully expect Liam to continue to contribute to the squad in the professional manner in which he has conducted himself at the club thus far.
"When the time comes we will thank him for his time here and wish him well for the future, however right now we are focused on finishing the season strongly."
