Red Star Belgrade and Legia Zagra to play MLS clubs in friendlies

Serbian club Red Star Belgrade and Poland's Legia Zagra will play friendlies against MLS club Chicago Fire.

Reports emanating from both Serbia and Poland suggest that the Fire will hold an exhibition tournament in May that will see Red Star and Legia play the Fire as well as one or two other clubs with French giants Paris Saint Germain also named.

A report on redstarbelgrade.com said: 'Red Star accepted an invitation to participate in the exhibition tournament in Chicago from May 17th to May 26th along with host Chicago Fire one more European team and one team from South America.'

It is also believed that Red Star, 25 times league champions, will play a match against Toronto FC.

Warsaw-based Legia will also play three friendly matches with one definitely being against the Fire.
