Red Bull has played down claims that they are set to buy Leeds United.
Reports suggest that the Austrian energy drink giant had come forward with a bid of £60million to purchase the Championship outfit.
But the company's head of global football, Oliver Mintzlaff, has denied such claims saying: "Another involvement in football is not currently planned."
Leeds owner Massimo Cellino told the Yorkshire Evening Post on Friday that an offer from Red Bull was forthcoming, however, it appears from Mintzlaff's comments that they will not be adding the Elland Road club to their existing football portfolio of New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Salzburg, Red Bull Brasil and RB Leipzig.
