Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud insists Arsene Wenger has been getting a bad rap for the teams recent results.
Elimination from the FA Cup at the hands of Blackburn Rovers followed by a North London derby defeat to Tottenham again has people questioning Wenger's stay at the Emirates Stadium.
However, Giroud made it clear that this little negative patch does not change the fact the Frenchman is a top manager as they chase a top-four finish.
"Of course we still want make it into the Champions League spots. We are confident, even though we recently lost the derby against Tottenham," he told Kicker magazine.
"We've had bad results - in the FA Cup (losing to Blackburn), then in the derby.
"I don't know anything about the coach's future, but he has proved that he is really a good manager."
