Real Zaragoza midfielder Pablo Aimar has ruled out a return to River Plate at the end of this season.

River Plate president Jose Maria Aguilar declared this week that Aimar was on his shopping list, but the Argentina international insisted: "It is not the right time to return (to Argentina).

"I want to spend more time here, with Zaragoza, where I have two years left on my contract. No, I am not thinking about returning at the moment."
