Real Zaragoza are in advanced talks with Valencia centre-forward Fernando Morientes.
The former Liverpool and Real Madrid striker is off contract in June and on the verge of a Bosman move to Zaragoza.
Zaragoza hope to seal a deal with Morientes once their promotion from the Segunda Liga is assured.
