Real Valladolid have snapped up Manchester City midfielder Andrea Mancini.

Mancini is the son of City boss Roberto Mancini and joins the Spanish Segunda Division outfit on a free transfer.

"When my agent told me about this opportunity, I did not have to think much," he told Marca.

"I knew at Manchester City that I would have few opportunities. In Valladolid I think I will have more opportunities and I will work for it."
