Real Valladolid owner Ronaldo Nazario is in talks with Watford for Cucho Hernandez.
Ronaldo is keen to take the young striker on-loan next season and is using his good relationship with the Pozzo family, the owners of Watford, to snap him up.
AS says Hernandez is available after Huesca's relegation last season.
The Colombian had joined on a two-season loan, but with Heusca now in the Segunda Division, Hernandez is free to move elsewhere.
Talks between Valladolid and Watford have been ongoing for a month over the striker's situation.
