Real Sociedad boss David Moyes hopes to sign Arsenal striker Joel Campbell this week.
The People says former Manchester United and Everton manager Moyes is desperate to add more firepower and the 22-year-old Costa Rican fits the bill.
Moyes has considered moves for several England-based strikers, including Burnley's Danny Ings, who is out of contract in the summer, Tottenham's Roberto Soldado and Jordan Rhodes of Blackburn.
But it is the Gunners' Campbell who is at the top of his hit-list and he will press Wenger to give him an answer on a loan move in the coming days.
Moyes's side are 12th in La Liga but, worryingly for the Scot, are just three points above the relegation zone.
