Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay is eager to sign permanently on-loan Arsenal striker Carlos Vela.

Aperribay is due to fly to England next week for talks with Arsenal.

A number of clubs around Europe are believed to be keen on the 23-year-old, but Sociedad have first option and the player himself is understood to be keen to remain at the Anoeta.
