Real Madrid face losing Xabi Alonso to Real Sociead in the coming weeks.

AS says the Rea youth coach is ready to accept an offer from Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay to return to San Sebastian.

The former La Real star will take a new job at his old club which will included youth development and the prospect of coaching the B or C team next season.

Aperribay and La Real sports director Roberto Olabe met with Xabi at his home on Sunday to lay out their proposal, which involves a pathway to him eventually becoming head coach.

Xabi was excited by what was put in front of him and he is now ready to make the move.
