El Mercurio says Bravo has told close friends he expects to move to Barca after the World Cup.
Personal terms had already been agreed before Bravo went into camp with the Chile squad.
His wife, Carla, spilled the beans last week on Facebook, posting: "Preparing the bags, we go to the beautiful Barcelona."
Barca and Real are now discussing a fee of €10-12 million plus midfielder Jonathan dos Santos in exchange for Bravo.
