Chivas de Guadalajara are believed to be looking at the prospect of bringing Carlos Salcedo back to the club.
The 21-year old Real Salt Lake defender started off in the youth academy of El Rebano Sagarado (the Sacred Herd) back in 2007 before eventually finding his way to Utah in 2012.
Mexican news outlet Milenio has reported that Guadalajara are looking at the possibility of adding Salcedo to their Liga MX roster ahead of the 2015 Clausura season.
Mexico U21 international Salcedo is out of contract with RSL after making 26 MLs appearances over the past two seasons.
