Real Salt Lake captain Kyle Beckerman will see a foot and ankle specialist to determine just how bad his injury is.
The 28-year old midfielder is in a moon boot after injuring his foot on May 22 against Chivas USA and as the team prepares for this weekend's clash with DC United at RFK Stadium, Beckerman will see a specialist in Baltimore.
"I'm seeing a pretty big doctor down there on Tuesday. After we see him, then we'll start to know a little better how long this is going to be," said Beckerman.
It is still unknown just how bad Beckerman's problem is but the MLS break from June 9-23 for the World Cup will give him every chance of returning to full fitness without missing too many matches.
