Real Mallorca are following Newell's Old Boys midfielder Mauro Formica.
The 21 year-old has impressed in the Argentine championship this season and is being watched by Mallorca scouts.
The Spanish Liga club have been in contact with Formica's representatives and have been informed that he would prefer to wait until June before deciding whether to move to Europe.
