Real Madrid's Schuster satisfied after Mallorca draw

Wesley Sneijder put Real in front minutes before halftime and they were looking comfortable before the dismissal of defender Sergio Ramos on 66 minutes. Six minutes later Borja Valero struck Mallorca's equaliser and in the end, Real were happy to escape the island with a point.

"Before the sending off of Sergio Ramos, I feel we were cruising to victory," said Schuster. "The match changed when we went down to ten men. But in any case, it was a good point secured from a difficult ground.

"It was an intense game. I expect that to continue for the rest of the season with so many teams having something to play for."

Schuster doesn't enjoy the best relationship with Mallorca coach Gregorio Manzano, but insisted: "We were cordial to eachother."

Goal scorer Sneijder said: "I was pleased with my goal, but full credit must go to Arjen Robben, who produced an amazing play in the lead-up."
