Real Madrid are preparing a move for PSG midfielder Marco Verratti.Marca says after their deal for Porto fullback Danilo, Real will now focus on prising Verratti away from PSG this summer.

The Italy international is regarded among the best young midfielders in the game and is seen as a viable alternative to Juventus dynamo Paul Pogba.

Verratti is tied to PSG until 2019 and Real hope to do business for around €40 million.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea and Bayern Munich fullback David Alaba are also on Real's agenda.
