Barcelona are still to lock away a deal for Racing Santander defender Ezequiel Garay, it has been revealed.

It was reported in the Catalan press that Garay would be joining Barca in the summer for £12 million after all parties reached an agreement last week.

However, AS says Barca are still to secure Garay's commitment and now face competition from two Spanish Liga rivals - one of which is Real Madrid.

The stumbling block for Barca is Garay's personal demands, which are far greater than what they have so far been willing to put on the table.
