Real Madrid target Suarez ready to take charge of Liverpool sale

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez wants to sort out his future immediately after the Confederations Cup. The Sunday Mirror says the Uruguayan striker remains determined to quit Anfield this summer and wants to meet with boss Brendan Rodgers and chief executive Ian Ayre for showdown talks once the Confederations Cup is over.

Suarez feels that the chance to join a club of Real Madrid's stature cannot be wasted. Liverpool players who aren't involved in international duty report back for training on July 2.

Suarez will use that as an opportunity to tell Rodgers to his face that he wants to quit the club.
