Real Madrid striker Joselu delighted with assist for Bellingham winner

Real Madrid striker Joselu was delighted with his role in victory over Celta Vigo last night.

Joselu laid on the winner for Jude Bellingham to convert on the night.

He later said, "We're aware that any game in the Primera División is going to be difficult. Celta made it very difficult for us, they've got quality players. We were patient and waited for our moment. We missed a penalty, but made the most of the set-piece. I'm happy to be more involved with the team and to help set up Jude's goal.

"The team is full of confidence. We've got some of the highest quality players and they're showing that they can be at their best at any given moment. It was important to pick up points in the three away games. We have to focus on the next game at the Bernabéu because it's going to be a great game.

"I'm really happy. I was sure I wanted to attack the near post and I couldn't get a shot on goal. I tried to help it on because we've got some beasts who arrive in the back. I told Jude to stay close to me when there's a dead ball or a long ball. He read it very well. I'm happy to play a part in that goal which was worth three points."
