Real Madrid seek European partnership club

Real Madrid are seeking a European partnership club where they can place some of their better young players to accelerate their development.

Real chiefs are following the lead of England's Premiership clubs which have collaboration agreements with European partners that allow them to send their young foreign signings to play in order to gain experience - and a European passport.

For example, Castilla youngster Juan Forlin, despite arriving in the summer from Argentina, is yet to play a game for Real because he does not carry an EU passport.

Real hope to get around such problems by striking a deal with a club from Portugal or Belgium where they could place players such as Forlin and so continue their recent success in the Argentine transfer market.
