Manchester City have stepped up their pursuit of Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas. Casillas is being discussed at City as a solution to their keeper dilemma, with manager Manuel Pellegrini having lost all confidence in England No1 Joe Hart.
Fueling talk of a January move for Casillas was a tweet from Sheikh Mansour this week revealing he'd met with Real president Florentino Perez during his visit to the UAE.
City feel Casillas would quickly settle at the Etihad given the number of Spanish not only in Pellegrini's squad, but also occupying coaching and management positions.
