Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants Jose Mourinho to rescue his 250 million project. Mourinho's relationship with Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has deteriorated in recent months and while the Nerazzurri are set to retain their Serie A crown and lead Chelsea 2-1 in the Champions League few would be surprised if the Portuguese left San Siro this summer.
Sources close to Mourinho claim he is already planning his exit and while Manchester City remain an option, Real are expected to make the first move for the former Chelsea manager, says the Daily Mail.
Pellegrini may not even survive until the end of the season but Real want Mourinho while Inter have earmarked Bordeaux's Laurent Blanc as the Special One's successor in Milan.
