Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has rejected talk of a return for Luis Campos.

The former Lille sporting director has been linked with Real Madrid in a similar role this summer.

But Florentino told El Transistor: "An arrival of Luis Campos? This does not correspond to reality.

"There is nothing. We know him from the time of José Mourinho, but there is nothing."

Campos was on Mourinho's backroom staff during the Portuguese's time in charge of Real Madrid.
