Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has mocked Barcelona pair Xavi and Andres Iniesta over their attack on Jose Mourinho.

The Chelsea manager "damaged Spanish football", according to Iniesta.

"Iniesta is entitled to be wrong. It would appear appropriate for Xavi and Iniesta to be upset with Mourinho because in the last five games we've played they have not won any. So, of course they're upset," said Perez.

"He was the coach who spent the most time with us. Of course, this can wear you down."
