Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is already preparing for the departure of coach Jose Mourinho. Sport says Florentino has told general manager Jorge Valdano to find a replacement for Mourinho. Though hoping to keep the Special One, Florentino does not want to leave anything to chance.
Mourinho's refusal to commit himself to the club beyond the end of this season has forced Florentino's hand.
For the moment, Valdano has a preliminary list of four names: France coach Laurent Blanc, a former Barcelona star, ex-Liverpool and Inter Milan boss Rafa Benitez, Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti and club legend Michel.
Zinedine Zidane, who is working closely with Florentino, has recommended Blanc to the president.
