Real Madrid president Florentino and Ramos remain on good terms

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and Sergio Ramos remain on good terms - despite their contract impasse.

That's according to Marca, which report Perez rang Ramos to check up on how he was doing after his knee operation the previous week, proving that discussions about any new deal are separate from the mutual respect and affection they share.

Each of them know their priorities for now lie in trying to help Real Madrid end the season as well as possible, and fight for the remaining trophies available to them.

The club are aware that Ramos insisted on fighting through his recent pain until it was physically impossible.

The centre-back played in the Supercopa de Espana semi final after having an injection to calm the pain, which is why he had to undergo surgery.

Whatever happens regarding his contract, nothing will change in the relationship between him and Perez.
