Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has admitted interest in Bordeaux midfielder Yoann Gourcuff.

Gourcuff is wanted by several European giants this summer, including Manchester City and Arsenal.

Perez said: "Some say he is the replacement for Zinedine Zidane. He is a player that the club continues to watch, just like others who we think are going to be great tomorrow."
