Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Ozil is happy with his place in coach Jose Mourinho's plans.

The emergence of Kaka has raised doubts over Ozil's future at Real.

But he says: "I play for the best club in the world, I am part of the regulars and I have confidence in my coach.

"Football has always been my passion and it's great that I can play now for Madrid. I just hope my performance continues to increase, improve and helps the team even more."
