Real Madrid hope to convince Bayern Munich to part with Franck Ribery by offering players in part-exchange. The Daily Star says Real are willing to offer Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben - plus £15 million - to Bayern for French ace Ribery.
Real value the Dutch pair at £40 million and hope the offer in value of £55 million will be enough to convince Bayern to sell.
Only last night, new Bayern coach Louis van Gaal called for the club to make a final decision on Ribery.
"I feel misunderstood, I never said I desperately want a transfer to happen," Ribery told Munich daily tz.
"That was not my words and I don't understand the public discussion that has aroused.
"I do not want to be in disagreement with Bayern Munich. I would really like to resolve things.
"We do have to wait if there is an offer coming and then sit down and talk. I do not want to say anything wrong right now."
