Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde was delighted to be part of victory at Osasuna.

Valverde racked up his 100th LaLiga appearance for Real Madrid in the trip to Osasuna.

He said, “I'm happy, it's very special to achieve personal objectives with such a great team and the best club in the world. I enjoy every game, training session and momentum as if it were the last.

“I want to thank the fans who travelled and who always support us because that's really important for us. We're one step closer to our objective. It was a tough game and we struggled a bit in the first half, particularly when they hit back so soon, but we addressed our mistakes and produced a good performance.

“We're all part of the team and are all pulling in the same direction. It's important that whoever gets to play performs well and is in good shape and we've shown that we are. It's a bonus for the team. We've now got a few days to rest up and we knew that it was important to win tonight to head into the Champions League game full of motivation."
