Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has hinted this could be his last season in football.

Speaking on his podcast, Kroos discussed his plans for next season.

"I play football every two weeks in the best stadium in the world," he began. "I enjoy every game I play there. It would be crazy to say that I wouldn't miss it. Of course I will miss it after I retire.

"If you enjoy something and like it so much, you will miss it. The energy in certain games that we decided at the last moment, the comebacks in a stadium with more than 80,000 people… Of course, these are moments that you will miss. But on the other hand, this doesn't mean you always need it, every day of my life, to be happy.

“I decided relatively late last year to renew my contract. If you have the slightest thought that you may not continue (I already had it last year), then you are definitely trying to make the most of these moments. Knowing that there will not be many more."
