Inter Milan and Liverpool remain interested in Real Madrid midfielder Fernando Gago.
An agreement with Boca Juniors has already been struck, however, Inter and Liverpool are being kept informed of developments.
Gago sees his return to Boca only as a stepping stone to return to Europe in better shape - and clubs have been alerted that this could happen as early as January.
The Argentina international wants to get his career back on track with six months of first team football at Boca after being frozen out at Real for the last year.
Gago will pen a deal with Boca through to 2013, but a return to Europe is expected much sooner.
