Real Madrid management happy to stand by Carvajal

Real Madrid management are happy to go forward with Dani Carvajal as their senior right-back.

Marca says Carvajal's capabilities have been called into question in recent months, particularly after Kylian Mbappe's performance against him in the Champions League round of 16 first leg in Paris, yet the Spaniard's future at Real Madrid is not in doubt.

Los Blancos have total faith in the long-serving defender are not planning to sign a new right-back in the summer.

There are currently three right-backs at the club in Dani Carvajal, Alvaro Odriozola and the recently converted Lucas Vazquez and Madrid are more than happy with their options.

Carvajal's contract expires in 2025, and the right-back position is not one that they are looking to strengthen.
