Real Madrid loan striker Chicharito unsure of Man Utd future

Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez admits he does not know where he will be playing next season.

The Mexico international, 26, is on a season-long loan at Real Madrid who can purchase him permanently from Manchester United in the summer.

A few weeks ago, it looked unlikely that Real would be interested in taking Chicharito in the summer but four goals in his past four outings have prompted manager Carlo Ancelotti to label his place in the starting eleven as 'non-negotiable'.

Chicharito, who is being linked with Southampton, insists he is currently focusing on only what he can control as the next phase of his career continues to be clouded by uncertainty.

"More than anything else they've served to give me confidence; I love playing football - it's what makes me feel good," said Hernandez after netting a brace in Sunday's 4-2 win over Celta Vigo.

"Only God knows where I will be this time next year, for moment, my only plan is to continue enjoying this moment and helping the best team in the world.

"I'm getting opportunities now and I have to make the most of them."
